Robhoward kindred

Rob Howard

Rob is a proven leader in automotive, technology, and supply chain innovation. He has founded, scaled, and sold two venture-backed startups to public companies, with a track record of building high-growth businesses that solve complex logistics challenges. He has tinkered on classic cars in his garage for the last two decades.
Most recently, Rob was part of Target’s leadership team following its acquisition of Grand Junction. Under his leadership, Grand Junction became the leading technology solution for managing same-day delivery programs for retailers, distributors, and third-party logistics providers.
Prior to that, Rob founded and served as CEO of Ensenda, which grew into the largest third-party logistics provider in the United States focused on local delivery. He later sold the company to TransForce (TSE: TFI).
Rob currently serves on the boards of Shipt and Boxbot and has previously served on the boards of Habitat for Humanity Greater San Francisco and the Customized Logistics and Delivery Association. Across his ventures, he has raised more than $100 million in venture capital and angel funding. Rob holds a bachelor’s degree in Environmental Engineering from Virginia Tech and an MBA from Yale University.

Tony Degrassi

Tony DeGrassi

Tony brings over 25 years of experience in building and scaling operations for early-stage startups to Kindred Motorworks. He specializes in designing end-to-end operational solutions, including supply chain, logistics, warehousing, and customer success for retail, e-commerce, and two-sided marketplaces. Known as a trusted cross-functional leader, collaborator, and mentor, Tony combines strategic vision with hands-on execution to drive efficiency, growth, and customer and employee satisfaction.
At Kindred, Tony has been instrumental in moving vehicles from concept to production, leading supply chain, engineering, production, service, quality, and facilities operations. Before joining Kindred, he held leadership roles at Chairish and DECASO, where he scaled logistics and customer operations while maintaining top-tier NPS scores and building innovative, financially sound operational infrastructures. Earlier in his career, he developed last-mile delivery networks for Ensenda, supporting major clients like Amazon, IKEA, and Home Depot, helping grow the company into a leading 3PL before its acquisition by Tforce Logistics.
Tony holds a bachelor of arts degree in criminal justice from UC Santa Barbara and is recognized for his ability to solve complex operational challenges and optimize processes.

Greg Clark

Greg brings extensive experience in automotive, advanced manufacturing, and technology sectors. He has a proven track record in scaling businesses, driving commercial growth, and building high-performing teams that deliver results.
At Kindred, Greg oversees all commercial operations, including sales, marketing, business development, and customer engagement. He focuses on aligning the company’s vision with actionable strategies to accelerate growth, expand market presence, and deliver exceptional value to customers.
Before joining Kindred, Greg held leadership roles at INEOS Automotive, where he helped develop and launch new vehicle programs as the head of North America, and at Jaguar Land Rover, where he managed commercial operations and strategic initiatives across key markets. He holds international business degrees from the University of Sunderland and New Mexico State University.

Tim Gallagher

Tim’s background is focused on supply chain finance and manufacturing, including being the first finance hire at Amazon’s Kindle hardware division and running supply chain finance at Google’s cell phone division. He has over 10 years of experience in VC-backed startups in the hardware space, including CFO roles at Cala Health, ROLI, and LIFX. 
 Tim’s career began in supply chain and operations, giving him a practical foundation in the physical product lifecycle. At Kindred Motors, Tim combines financial rigor with strategic vision to drive sustainable growth and operational excellence as the company redefines classic car ownership.

John McGinn

John brings extensive leadership and operational expertise to the company’s mission of reimagining classic cars for the modern era. A former U.S. Army Captain and Iraq War Veteran, He combines disciplined, mission-driven leadership with decades of experience in automotive and tech manufacturing.
At Kindred, John oversees all aspects of vehicle production at the historic Mare Island facility, ensuring that every car is hand-built to the highest standards of quality, reliability, and craftsmanship. He leads teams through the full production lifecycle, from assembly planning to delivery, implementing standardized processes that enhance efficiency while preserving the artistry and precision of hand-built vehicles.
Prior to joining Kindred, John held multiple leadership roles in automotive and technology manufacturing, including production management at Tesla, where he oversaw Model 3 and Model Y general assembly, and production leadership at Veev. His experience spans large-scale manufacturing, startup environments, and operational optimization, with a strong focus on cost management, process improvement, and people development.
A graduate of the United States Military Academy at West Point with a bachelors of science degree, John is known for his ability to solve complex production challenges and inspire teams to exceed performance goals. His leadership ensures that every Kindred vehicle delivers both exceptional driving experience and enduring craftsmanship.

Brandon Montellato

Brandon oversees Kindred Motorworks’s planning, execution, and delivery of complex vehicle programs, ensuring that every modern classic is built to exacting standards of performance, reliability, and craftsmanship.
Before joining Kindred, Brandon held key technical program management roles across cutting-edge technology and aviation companies. At Cuberg, he led battery system programs designed to electrify aviation and reduce carbon emissions. He also served as technical solutions manager at Wing, supporting on-demand drone delivery and urban air mobility initiatives, and as Project Manager for Airbus Helicopters’ Vahana eVTOL program, helping pioneer autonomous and electric flight technology. Earlier, he drove technical program initiatives at DJI, Skycatch, and Oracle, focusing on autonomous systems, data analytics, and operational process improvements.
Brandon holds a bachelor’s degree from San Francisco State University. Known for his ability to translate complex technical requirements into actionable project plans, he combines deep technical expertise with strategic program oversight. At Kindred Motorworks, Brandon ensures every program integrates innovation, precision, and efficiency, delivering vehicles that honor classic design while embracing modern technology.

James Hoover

James supervises the end-to-end supply chain for the company’s modern classic vehicles. He ensures that every component is sourced, manufactured, and delivered efficiently, supporting the high standards of quality, craftsmanship, and reliability that define Kindred vehicles.
James brings extensive experience in supply chain management, operations, logistics, and warehousing across technology, manufacturing, and e-commerce sectors. Prior to joining Kindred, he served as senior supply chain manager at Velo3D, where he helped a startup company scale through its public launch, developing, procuring, manufacturing, and delivering advanced laser bed fusion 3D printers for aviation, space, energy, and other emerging OEM industries.
Earlier roles at MobileSkyfi.com, West Marine, and Conagra Brands gave James a strong foundation in operational leadership, process optimization, and cross-functional collaboration. He has successfully led teams in purchasing, planning, warehouse management, and logistics, driving efficiency, cost savings, and continuous improvement across organizations.
A graduate of Northwestern Michigan College, James combines analytical rigor with strategic insight to build resilient, scalable supply chain systems. At Kindred Motorworks, his leadership ensures that every vehicle is delivered on time, meets exacting standards, and provides an exceptional ownership experience for every customer.
