EV Conversion Design
Kindred aims for a minimum range of 200 miles – enough for 99% of daily car trips. This requires creative engineering from Kindred and our partners on battery pack configuration and mounting systems.
Battery System
WEIGHT DISTRIBUTION IS A SIGNIFICANT DETERMINANT OF VEHICLE SAFETY AND DRIVABILITY. KINDRED PAYS CLOSE ATTENTION TO BATTERY PLACEMENT WHICH ALLOWS US TO PRODUCE MODERN CLASSIC CARS WITH A LOWER CENTER OF GRAVITY, BETTER HANDLING AND IMPROVED SAFETY.
Weight Distribution
Our electric drivetrain replaces under-powered, inefficient and polluting gasoline engines. Our electric vehicle platform is optimized for increased performance, range, low maintenance and fast charging. Kindred also incorporates the latest EV safety equipment into all of our vehicles.
Electric Powertrain Design
CONVERTING VINTAGE CARS TO ELECTRIC REQUIRES ENTIRELY NEW COMPUTER DRIVEN CONTROLS FOR HEATING, COOLING AND INSTRUMENTATION SYSTEMS. OUR KINDRED EV CONTROL SYSTEM PROVIDES THE TECHNOLOGY INFRASTRUCTURE NEEDED IN THE VEHICLE TO BRING THESE SYSTEMS TO LIFE.
