Kindred EV Bronco Debut
From Mare Island to Monterey Car Week
Our team worked tirelessly to get the Kindred EV Bronco ready to go for Monterey Car Week, and the results did not disappoint. The unveiling went better than we could have imagined and we’re so excited for everyone to finally see what we’ve been working on.
Finishing Our Prototypes
In the months leading up to Monterey Car Week, our team completed EV Bronco prototypes 001 and 002. Throughout spring and summer, we saw multiple iterations of the car, each of which played a crucial role in finalizing the design and engineering in time for the launch.
We’ve come a long way since we last gave you an update, but in that time, we did what we set out to to do: develop the best EV Bronco you can buy.
The Big Reveal: Monterey Car Week
Thankfully, our hard work paid off. The EV Bronco’s debut was met with a warm welcome from the crowds at Monterey Car Week. We had an incredibly busy, but rewarding, visit to the Central Coast, linking up with old friends, making new ones, and diving deep into the details of the EV Bronco.
We kicked things off with Wednesday’s debut at Motorlux, then took our fleet of Broncos — 2 EV and 2 ICE — to Saint Lucia Preserve for Concours and Cocktails on Thursday. We spent Friday with Hacienda and finished things off on Saturday on The Concept Lawn at Pebble Beach. It’s safe to say that after all of that, we were gassed (but our new Broncos were not).
What's Next For The Kindred EV Bronco?
The EV Bronco may be officially launched, but we still have work to do. We’ll be spending the rest of the year finishing up the final testing on our EV Bronco prototypes and getting our assembly line ready to handle another production vehicle.
To help get our feet firmly set beneath us, we’ll be adding a few more EV Broncos to our internal fleet to aid in testing and quality control. Our first customer EV Broncos will be off the line and ready to drive by March 2025.
